‘Fawn’ is an intuitive painting with a gentle message of the universe about nature, dreams and kindness.

It was created with watercolors on paper back in 2015 as an assignment for the London Art College where I was taking the course ‘Unorthodox Watercolor Painting’ with Jan Nesbitt. We were asked to work with reference images and then play with size and composition. I chose three of Sam’s photographs, one of a fawn and a landscape taken in the USA and one of the grapes in our backyard when we were also living in Belgium at the time.

As a spirit animal, the fawn stands for innocence, purity, fresh starts, and tranquility. It also symbolizes the untainted and pure qualities of youth, new beginnings and entering the world with a clean slate.

The piece is signed by me. The image measures 23 cm x 31 cm. I had it professionally matted and framed behind glass with a beautiful golden frame made of wood. The total piece measures 36 cm x 44 cm x 2 cm and is ready to hang. All my original artwork includes a certificate of authenticity and guidelines for conservation.

'Fawn’ will undoubtedly bring beauty,  peace, joy and a sacred touch to any space.
